Babies are the cutest things ever, aren’t they? Together with dogs, of course. So, when you get the chance to have babies AND dogs in the same commercial, you really want the music to sound like a trip to heaven and back.

Challenge

The campaign shows a baby’s dream and his variety of emotions – awe above all else, as he goes on a little boat adventure with his little crib.

With no expectations whatsoever, he discovers new things he’s never seen nor experienced before. We took that novelty feeling into account and started working on it. Despite the animation focusing on the baby’s perspective, with the song we were eager to tell the story from the mom’s point of view.

Approach

So why not compose a lullaby that also sounds like a comforting pop song?

By working together with Serviceplan, it didn’t take us long to realise that we had to pay special attention to the lyrics. Not only that, we also had to create the music by taking each single animation into account and make both sides run smoothly.

Solution

The result? A reassuring and joyful score that awakens our inner child.

On top of the English version, we also came up with a Korean version. Something we were able to do by making use of our network of Korean talents.

Julie Kang, CEO and Managing Partner at Serviceplan Korea, comments:
“With this campaign we wanted to touch the heart of millennial moms. Working with MassiveMusic Tokyo has given us great inspiration and motivation. Music has played a huge role in elevating our creative to the next level.”

Receiving an email from Suraen De Silva, Marketing Director at Procter & Gamble Korea, saying “You guys nailed it” was the icing on the cake that made us realise, once again, how music has the ability to tell compelling stories about what we dream in life – whether we keep our eyes closed or open.

Let’s elevate your story through the power of music and sound.
