… no, we’re not about to start a joke. We just want to prepare you for what you’re about to see and let you know that in today’s world nothing is what it seems.

Challenge

Heineken approached us asking if we could find some good music for ‘The Switch’. The short film shows viewers how a beer can turn a night from lifeless to legendary.

The song needed to be something that could convey this switch perfectly, going from mostly boring and a little creepy (because why is everyone in that bar staring at them?) to an absolute party.

Approach

“The perfect beer calls for the perfect bar” is the claim of this Heineken campaign. So, we made sure that “The perfect ad calls for the perfect song” became our own motto during our search for a good song.

We quickly found Clairy Browne and the Bangin’ Rackettes and we suggested their song ‘Love Letter’ to the agency.

Solution

Everyone loved it. We all agreed immediately that we hit the right track.

Clairy Browne has such a great voice, capturing that retro raw vibe and combining it with a classy club feel.
