Communications Internship

Women in music studio

Our Amsterdam headquarters is looking for a remarkable intern to join our Communication department. A quick learner with a proactive mindset, a superhero with a sprinkle of awesomeness.

Job Description

You will help our Comms team, part of the MarCom team, with some general communications and admin tasks. Every now and then you’ll be asked to support when it comes to minor design tasks – hence knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, Keynote and After Effects/Premiere Pro is appreciated, although not paramount. Additionally, you will also help out with small office tasks at the office. But, most importantly, we hope you are always in the mood for a good laugh.

Your to-do list includes but is not limited to:

  • Assisting the team with admin and data entry tasks
  • Optimising and organising the MarCom server and storing content accordingly
  • Supporting MarCom with a wide range of behind-the-scenes activities
  • Creative writing — case pages, blogs — and brainstorming for new content ideas and strategy
  • Supporting traffic workflow and keeping the team up-to-date on latest developments
  • Creating/curating creative images: website stills, social media and newsletter visuals
  • Editing, resizing and/or compressing videos and gifs

Skills & Requirements

  • You live in the Netherlands and are currently enrolled in a Comms-related HBO study
  • You are very good at time management: organising, coordinating and planning is your cup of tea (‘Oh I did it already’ is one of your most repeated sentences)
  • You are proactive, accurate and have excellent communication skills
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are not afraid to share your ideas
  • You are experienced with Keynote and presentations
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After
Effects)? Oef, we’re hyperventilating
  • Your passion for music is so incalculable that not even Isaac Newton would be able to figure it out
  • You are very fluent in English (extra kudos for Dutch)
  • You have an eagle eye for details and do not miss deadlines

Full-time or part-time (24-40 hours) for a preferred duration of 6 months, starting from the end of February.

What do you get in return? Inspiration, knowledge, career development and a financial compensation of €350,- gross/month. You’ll be working with an international bunch of remarkable musically-infused individuals.
